What if I could give you one cheat code to hit your wellness goals?
One of the reasons so many people fail to stick to their wellness goals is because they try to accomplish too many goals at once. The moment they mess up on one they say forget them all. That’s no way to make it to the finish line. Get rid of the All or Nothing mentality.
It’s the reason why some people can’t stick to anything longer than a week. The reason why some people goals have never been reached. The reason some are still single. The reason some are still trying to lose the same 20 pounds for years now.
We are human and we can’t expect to get everything right ALL THE TIME.
Do what you can today… and do some more the next day too. (And the next day and the next day…it’s how you build the habit of consistency).
Don’t Give Up, Instead: Pivot
Try the following when you go off course a bit.
✨ Your lunch wasn’t on the meal plan, make sure your dinner is.
✨You didn’t get the grade you wanted on that test, make sure you study more for the next one.
✨You didn’t exercise today, make sure you do tomorrow!
✨You didn’t journal at the time of the day you prefer. Do it later, if time permits.
✨You wanted to workout for an hour, but only have 20 minutes to spare. Do the 20 minutes!
✨You can’t get into the full expression of a yoga pose or strength training move (yet). The modification is perfect for your needs!
We can’t be on 100% all the time. We are human and we will fall off sometimes. You don’t give up at the first obstacle. You plan for a better next time. It doesn’t have to be all or nothing.
But dont you dare give up!!
