If I’m being honest, lately I have been feeling like I have lost sight of some of my health goals. You ever feel like that?
I feel like I need to set some goals so that I don’t lose sight of my health and wellness. It’s so easy to do as we go about life….and especially in the summer! Whew Chile! Don’t even get me started on how I have been outside, out of the country, and out of my routine!!

🫖So..spill the tea Ash.✨
This past year, I did added some more responsibilities to my already busy plate. In doing so, it made me a little more sedentary. Not only was I more sedentary, but my nutrition changed a bit too. It was very unintentional. It happened so easily. And because of that I realized my body composition was changing. And it was changing QUICKLY. So I needed to get back to the basics before things got out of hand. It was a matter of energy in vs energy out that had changed drastically. (Should I create a blog or video explaining this more in depth??)
It’s important to set some boundaries. Set some goals. And be intentional. I like to set a deadline to hit a new goal so that I have a why and a when lol. So it might be running a 10k, or lifting heavier weights, or trying a new form of exercise by a certain date. How do you stay intentional about your health and wellness?
📒Things that have helped me in the past
One of the things that is helping me get back on track is journaling and tracking my meals. I even had to refer back to the basics. This book was the formula that helped me in the past, and sure enough, it is helping me in this present part of my journey too.
In two days, I am down two pounds. 🙌🏾 I have started to journal more to get out of my head which has really been the best part. And I’m going back to my bodybuilding routine and tracking everything!(No I don’t plan on competing…right now😉) I’m tracking macros, weighing food and drinks, and writing my workouts out to track the muscle groups I’m targeting.

Accountability and self-awareness can go a long way. I would love to take you on this journey with me. Should the journey be documented in blog form, video form, or as a whole group and we get through this together? Do you want me to explain how energy in vs energy out works? Do you want to know how to calculate macros…or what macros are?
Let me know your thoughts!
Also check out the latest video for some mindset motivation. This has definitely helped me in my journey.
